About Us

Welcome to a new medical information website.

Our intention is to provide news of interest to the consumer and the clinician regarding advances, changes and the promise of medicine.

 As science journalists, our goal it to provide a wide-ranging view of the stories which are making news in medicine, mainly information gleaned from attending medical conferences worldwide; from review of dozens of medical journals; and information from governmental, academic and industrial sources.

 Our stories will attempt to provide an overview of the various reports, but we readers must understand that our stories are not prescriptions for treatment. Our stories are signposts on the path of medical progress which hopefully will lead to successful treatment for the many ailments that beset people around the globe.
