Medical Council Noted by India Post

The 75th anniversary of the Medical Council of India was noted by a commemorative stamp issued by India Post on March 1.2009packsmedcouncil

The 5 rupee stamp depicts the seal of the organization that was founded in 1933. The seal, in white ink, is superimposed of a background that includes the seal of the orgtanization and a stethoscope.

The horizonal format is printed in sheets of 50 stamps. According to India Post, the agency printed 400,000 copies of the postage stamp.
